His new book is “The Last Days of George Armstrong Custer: The True Story of the Battle of the Little Bighorn.” Hatch is one of the foremost experts on Custer. Joining in the conversation later in the hour is Voices of the West and Southern Arizona News-Examiner contributor Scott Dyke, who is also well versed on Custer. VOTW co-host Bunker de France on Gunsmoke episode “Matt’s Love Story”

Bunker is a retired Hollywood stuntman. He appeared in 52 "High Chaparral" episodes filmed at Old Tucson. He also did a "Gunsmoke" episode filmed at Old Tucson. In the scene, you'll see him ride up and dismount. He's the cowboy sporting the purple bandana.
