Bunker appears as one of the hired hands for the bad guys. The episode is called “Matt’s Love Story” and it is the highest rated Gunsmoke episode in the show’s run. The scene starts with Bunker riding in and bringing his horse to a stop while he’s dismounting. He remains in the scene in the background. Look for the cowboy wearing a purple neck rag. Bunker’s pal, Victor French, is the guy Matt is searching for when Matt encounters an accident and suffers from amnesia.
